由武汉大学华盛顿地区校友会发起，美东校友会和南加州校友会共同组织的首届“珞珈生物医学国际论坛”将于2013年9月21日（周六）在美国马里兰大学举行。会议分为生物、医学、交叉学科和产业三部分组成，讲座内容为该学科国际热点问题、发展动态、国内外进展和创业信息。 本次活动也是武汉大学建校120周年暨医学部成立70周年的庆祝活动之一，论坛面向全北美地区的武大校友，旨在为校友提供交流合作和发展机会，也为母校提供国际合作资源。本届论坛由生命科学院、医学部和交叉学科校友共同组织。已经邀请到北美的杰出校友做论坛特邀专题报告，同时还将邀请武汉大学生命科学院、医学部和武汉生物技术研究院等领导亲临指导。 本届论坛对武大校友免费开放注册，注册截至时间为2013年9月7日。

          Initiated by the Washington DC Chapter of the Wuhan University Alumni Association, the Luojia International Biomedical Conference is implemented as one of the activities celebrating the 120th anniversary of Wuhan University and the 70th anniversary of School of Medicine. The goals for the conference are to foster communication and collaboration among alumni, and to provide resources to Wuhan University for international cooperation. We are planning an ambitious program featuring outstanding alumni speakers in the biomedical sector from both academia and industry. Guests from the College of Life Sciences, School of Medicine, and Wuhan Biotechnology Institutes of Wuhan University will be invited to attend the conference. Registration is free to Wuhan University Alumni. Registration Deadline is September 7, 2013.
