Dear Alumni,

I am writing to report our "Annual Cold Winter Alumni Gathering"
We had a wonderful Alumni lunch party on Feb. 16, 2002 at Laurel.
More than 20 people from Washington-Baltimore and Philadephia
joined the event.

During the lunch time, we elected Dr. Yidao Cai our new president
for 2002, Dr. Xiaqiang Kang as president-elect and Dr. Shen Zhong
as the vice president.

We also decided to form the second local chapter (Washington-Baltimore)
of HBMUOAA, and elected Shen Zhong as first prsident.

Please accept my warmest congratulation to Yidao, Xiaoqiang and
Shen Zhong! Thank you for taking the positions to serve our association.

Again, thanks for everybody for coming to our party and for your supporting
during my term as the president of HBMUOAA.
