Dear alumni:

As you may be aware, there has been a series of shooting going on around
Washington DC area in US, resulting in 8 deaths. While we don't know if
the shooting targets a particular group of people, we do know that they happen
almost anywhere: in the school, at gas station, and in the shopping area.
It seems right now it is limited in an area within 50 miles of DC. However,
no one is sure it will not happen in any other areas of US or even other
countries.

At this time of uncertainty, I urge all our members, not only those near
DC area, to take precautions whenever you are in a public place. Reduce
your trip for outdoor activities whenever possible. If you notice any
suspicious activity or people around, leave the area immediately.

The Hallowen is coming. Members in high risk area please pay special attention
to safety.
