Dear Bay area alumni and friends,

Do you have a plan for the Labor Day weekend? How about a picnic in the
wine country!!! You get more than just a regular picnic, wine tasting,
vineyard tour, hiking in the redwood, baking on the beach�..you name it.

Thanks for Wei Wu and Yi Liang, residents of Sonoma county. We are all
invited to join this year抯 Wuda alumni summer picnic party they have nicely
planned for us. It is going to be a potluck party and so be prepared to
share with us your favorite dishes. Here is the details of the plan (you
can join us at any time point according to your schedule).

When: Saturday, Sept. 3, 10am-5:00pm
Where: Sonoma county, north to San Francisco, about 100 miles from San
Jose

Activities:

1) Visit Korbel winery, the top 1 Champaign winery of the North America. The
activities include winery tour and free wine taste. It takes about 2 hours.
10:00am~12:00am (one hour for each tour, we expect two group tours)

2) Picnic at Amstrong Redwood State Park. Hiking and picnic in Redwood.
Potluck, 2 hours,
12:30pm~14:30pm

3) Visit beautiful Sonoma coast, Salt point, along high way 1, where is
called "wild 17 mile drive way". 3~4 hours.
15:00pm~. It's optional.

>From Korbel to Amstrong redwood is only 3.5 miles.
>From Amstrong to Salt Point is 33.1 miles.
The trip will take about 4(item 1,2) or 7(item 1,2,3)
hours so people have to come here early before 10:00am.
