Time flies and it’s the spring of the year!

I want to report to you that Jack (Zhongfa) Yang has agreed to serve as Vice President in 2009, and he will automatically becomes President-Elect in 20010, and President in 2011. Listed below is the complete executive council members for 2009:

As many of you know, last year we were planning to have an alumnus gathering in Washington D.C. area. However, due to a low number of alumni who planned to attend and other unpredicted reasons, the plan was not fulfilled. Here I would like to solicit ideas from all the members about what activities we should have to increase bonding among our alumni and how often we should have the activities. We have had gatherings, mostly in Washington D.C. area as there are a relatively larger group of our alumni. Also, many people talked about a cruise ship gathering for interested WUSMOAA members, but it seemed difficult to get the people on the precise schedule. More ideas would be welcomed.

Here I also want to pay tribute to the remarkable and tireless service of Yidao Cai for maintaining our Association’s website (http://www.wuda-alumni.org/hbmu/) that is the crucial communication platform for our members.
